The Manager of Supply Chain Optimization is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations. This role involves analyzing data, developing optimization strategies, and implementing solutions to improve performance and reduce costs. The Manager will lead a team of optimization analysts to achieve these goals.

What you will do:

  1. Lead a team of Consultants.
  2. Serve as the Digital Supply Chain Functional Lead, leading specific areas of implementation and requirements of digital supply chain tools and technologies.
  3. Lead strategic initiatives for fleet and agricultural equipment, ensuring alignment with overall supply chain goals.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet and agricultural equipment utilization and performance.
  5. Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Develop and implement optimization strategies.
  7. Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
  8. Monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions.
  9. Provide support and training to team members on optimization tools and techniques.
  10. Work collaboratively with all business areas, applications, and technology teams to support implementing key solutions.
  11. Lead and stand-up including financials for cross-functional projects to improve supply chain processes and performance.
  12. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
  13. Conduct regular reviews of supply chain processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  14. Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on supply chain goals and objectives.
  15. Drive strategic initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  16. Support and develop roadmaps for supply chain objectives.
  17. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all supply chain activities.
  18. Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain operations.
  19. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain team.
  20. Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
  21. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the supply chain remains competitive and efficient.

What you will bring:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Technology or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain optimization or a related technology role.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisor or leadership role.
  4. Supply chain management principles and practices knowledge.
  5. Methods and techniques for business analysis.
  6. Data analysis and interpretation.
  7. Ability to translate discussions with senior architecture resources into data flows and architectural diagrams.
  8. Experience with data integrations across API integrations and analysis of data element translation and capture.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  11. Adaptable and resourceful, delivering in an agile manner.
  12. Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  13. Experience with digital supply chain tools and technologies is a bonus.
  14. Product Owner experience is a plus.
  15. Fleet or farm management platform experience is preferred (John Deere Operations Centre, Samsara).
