Our cutting-edge technologies and solutions are trusted by military and commercial customers worldwide. We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our Ottawa based team!

What will you be doing?

  • The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for organizing the end-to-end supply chain process. They ensure that all processes are executed effectively to achieve cost savings and profitability goals. In addition, they will manage the procurement function.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain process, including inventory management, order processing, logistics, and manage the procurement process.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders including engineering, production, and production planning to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze and optimize the supply chain to improve efficiency, reduce lead time, and reduce costs.
  • Assist in development and implementation of inventory management strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste and excess.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain management, including cost savings and on-time delivery.
  • Lead strategic sourcing and development of both new and existing suppliers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including managing supplier performance.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

What do we need from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, with a proven track record of success.
  • Analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) can be beneficial in demonstrating expertise and knowledge in the field.
  • Certified International Purchasing/Procurement Professional (CIPP) certification is preferred from the International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Institute (IPSCMI).
