Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time SCM Data Analyst for our client in Calgary, AB.

The Data Analyst performs exploratory data analysis to cleanse, maintain governance, and optimize settings on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) inventory master data.

A strong analytical background and experience with SAP are required, along with expertise in Inventory Management and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

  • Location: Calgary, AB
  • Shifts: Monday – Friday | 40 hours a week
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary | 12 months contract

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage inventory performance and optimization to ensure reliable operations.
  • Govern material master MRP data integrity to ensure compliance with our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) parameter matrix for SAP materials along with Inventory Planning standards, processes, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Ensure SOX Audit compliance for DOA approvals to inventory Stock Plan order control changes.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis on MRP master data settings and material consumption patterns.
  • Drive corrective actions to arrest unnecessary inventory growth and cost avoidance activities.
  • Provide support and training to internal clients on inventory management and stocking strategies.
  • Provide financial risk visibility for excess and obsolete inventory.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside in Calgary, Alberta.
  • Post Graduate Degree/ diploma in Supply chain management.
  • 5+ years of experience in performing exploratory data analysis for inventory demand, material MRP master data, and material consumption patterns.
  • Technical competency in SAP S/4, including SAP MM, PM, and EWM modules.
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain, inventory or material management related roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and materials management strategies.
  • Skilled in ERP (SAP preferred), Supply Planning/ Modelling, Business Unit Operations Knowledge, Business Performance Management (KPIs).
  • Experience in Oil and Gas or relevant industry (e.g., chemicals, utilities, resources, engineering, etc.) preferred.
  • Expertise with inventory and operations management.
  • Strong analytical skills with extensive experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and change management skills.
