Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management

  1. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure materials availability for production, using ERP, MRP systems and kanbans.
  2. Track and manage inventory for raw materials, plant consumables, and hardware to prevent shortages or overages.
  3. Analyze demand trends and lead inventory planning efforts to optimize supply chain processes.
  4. Maintain BOMs in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

Order and Shipment Coordination

  1. Coordinate incoming orders by entering and tracking them through the ERP system.
  2. Plan and execute outgoing shipments with precision, ensuring orders are packaged, labeled, and dispatched correctly.
  3. Liaise with shipping providers to optimize costs, transit times, and delivery accuracy.
  4. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
  5. Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks to move inventory safely and efficiently.

Continuous Improvement

  1. Identify opportunities for process improvement across inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping workflows.
  2. Implement practices to drive efficiency and accuracy in inventory controls and order shipments.
  3. Design and optimize warehouse layouts to enhance material flow and order fulfillment.
  4. Coordinate weekly inventory audits to ensure year-end accuracy and compliance.

Other Duties

  1. Work closely with production departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and production flow.
  2. Provide clear and timely communication regarding inventory levels, shipment schedules, and potential disruptions.
  3. Prepare reports analyzing supply chain performance, inventory health, and shipment trends.

  • Shipment accuracy of 95% or better
  • Inventory accuracy of 98% or better
  • Collaborative relationships across departments that help streamline workflows and solve challenges together

Job Breakdown

  • Shipping and receiving: 40%
  • Inventory management and BOM maintenance: 30%
  • Order entry and fulfillment tracking: 20%
  • Continuous improvement and collaboration: 10%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

  • supply chain: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
