Responsibilities

  • Issues uniforms to all the uniformed departments under established operating policy and procedure
  • Generates accurate documents for financial control of uniform inventory for issues, sales and returns of garments
  • Generates and applies computerized inventory labels to uniforms
  • Performs physical inventories
  • Performs quality assurance inspections on all new stock upon receipt; issues notification to department management if stock does not meet specifications and standards
  • Monitors on-site stock levels; communicates stock levels to management, receives stock from and performs restocking functions. Prepares garments for laundry using appropriate guidelines and specifications
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of uniform inventory; ability to identify all uniformed job functions, issue appropriate uniform, fit the garments to the employee and communicate the standards of appearance and proper garment care
  • Operates coat conveyors and garment bag systems
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or 4 or more years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. Prior Gaming experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk distances.
  • The employee must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.

Additional Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses including an AGCO Gaming License
  • Must be nineteen (19) years of age.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
  • Prior experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred.

Knowledge Of

  • Must have good computer skills; Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to use the computerized inventory system and conveyor system
  • Must be able to use steamers, heat sealers, and iron equipment
  • Must possess 6+ months of guest service experience
  • Must be a multitasker and energetic
  • Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures as dictated by the Wardrobe department
