Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Work Site Environment:

Work Setting:

Security guard agency at various locations

Tasks:

1. Arrange for maintenance and repair work
2. Assist clients/guests with special needs
3. Be the point of contact when in need to handle emergency situations
4. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
5. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
6. Prepare and submit progress and other reports
7. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
8. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
9. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
10. Supervise office and volunteer staff
11. Establish work schedules and procedures

Supervision:

5-10 people including staff in various areas of responsibility and security guards

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses:

Security Guard License

Experience:

1 year to less than 2 years
