Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Setting

Bakery

Tasks

  1. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  2. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
  3. Prepare production and other reports
  4. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  5. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
  6. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
  7. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Supervision

5-10 people

Staff in various areas of responsibility

Labourers in food, beverage and tobacco processing

Testers and graders, food and beverage processing
