Supervisor, Fleet, Facilities, and Procurement
About The Role
The Supervisor, Fleet, Facilities, and Procurement provides critical support to the business and is accountable for ensuring effective governance and oversight of GTel’s fleet vehicles, facilities, and procurement programs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, achieving financial commitments, and driving operational improvements to enhance the business's success, stability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the fleet vehicle program, including scheduling timely maintenance and repairs, updating insurance coverage, renewing licenses and registrations, monitoring fuel usage, and overseeing the disposal of decommissioned vehicles.
- Oversee all building operations, ensuring the safety and functionality of company facilities for both companies. Responsibilities include conducting routine safety inspections, coordinating with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising support staff.
- Lead contract identification, development, evaluation, and negotiations related to facility management.
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking and control, implementing loss prevention measures to minimize inventory shrinkage.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure products and services meet quality standards, align with company objectives, and are delivered on time. Responsibilities include contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Ensure all fleet vehicles are operational, including GPS functionality, completion of preventive maintenance, and alignment with business needs.
- Maintain up-to-date procedure manuals and guidelines, ensuring their effective application and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and overall organizational objectives for fleet vehicles, facilities, and procurement.
- Oversee general facility management activities, including maintenance, parking, waste disposal, recycling, document shredding, and building security at all sites.
- Monitor and control costs, identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Support training initiatives related to fleet applications, including but not limited to GeoTab and Vehicle App.
- Ensure necessary supplies are available and distributed to remote locations.
- Ensure all necessary equipment is available, properly calibrated, and in good working condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in fleet vehicle management, logistics, facilities, or a related industry
- Proven experience managing a team of direct and indirect reports
- Strong business acumen, including financial and budget management experience
- Experience in negotiating, executing, and managing contracts effectively
