We are a seasonal property with positions starting May 7, 2025, until October 2025. For our international applicants, please note we do not have any LMIA spots available at this time.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team at our hotel in the Canadian Rockies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public and staff areas to our high standards. The lodge is in a very busy remote location, and the cabins are outside with lots of walking each day. This job position has an early shift starting at 6 am – 2 pm.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in public areas such as restaurant and gift shop.
2. Clean and sanitize public washrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors. Also restock soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
3. Assist the housekeepers in the morning by clearing all rooms of dirty linen and garbage from guests the night before.
4. Make beds on busy days to assist housekeepers if needed.
5. Clean and sanitize staff kitchen.
6. Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor.
7. Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and team members.
8. Assist with laundry or other cleaning tasks as needed.

Requirements:

1. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required as we will train the right candidates.
2. Willingness to work outside.
3. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
5. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Compensation:

Wage: $17 plus bonuses. Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day. Completion Bonus: If the contract is completed, you will receive $1 for every hour worked, plus a bonus that will cover the cost of your rent. Referral Bonus: $500 if both yours and your referral's contract are completed.
