Black Diamond Group’s Finance & Technology department has a full-time summer student position for ERP/EPM in Calgary, Alberta.

This role is hybrid - in-office with 20% flexibility to work from home.

The analyst will support the transition from SAP Business One to Oracle NetSuite as part of our accounting system implementation. In addition, you will play a crucial role in an EPM redesign by analyzing the current system, collaborating with stakeholders to design a modernized solution, and assist in implementing enhancements that align with organizational performance tracking and reporting goals. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with both an ERP and EPM system, develop analytical skills, and contribute to a critical transformation project in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Gain a deeper understanding of ERP systems and stay up to date with best practices and emerging trends in ERP analysis
  2. Assist in analyzing and validating data, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with ERP Project team members
  3. Support the implementation and configuration of Oracle NetSuite and Oracle EPM
  4. Participate in testing system functionalities to ensure they meet business requirements
  5. Work closely with Finance, IT, and external consultants to ensure successful implementation
  6. Assist in data migration from legacy systems to NetSuite and FCCS
  7. Integrate NetSuite data with other business systems and third-party applications
  8. Collaborate with financial and operational teams to align system functionality with organizational goals
  9. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring scalability and adaptability for future requirements
  10. Create and maintain detailed documentation for data migration and system configurations

Qualifications

  1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; or completing the final stages of one of the fields above
  2. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI platforms (i.e., Power BI, Tableau or Qlik)
  3. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP Business One or Oracle NetSuite, is a plus
  4. Proficiency in EPM platforms (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, HFM, EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, etc.)
  5. Strong problem-solving and project management skills, with an ability to balance multiple priorities
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
