The Nova Scotia School Book Bureau is responsible for the acquisition and distribution of learning resources and related products to support teaching and learning and to ensure availability in a cost-effective manner to Nova Scotia schools.
You would provide administrative support to the Nova Scotia School Book Bureau. You would be responsible for providing extensive data entry accurately into various systems, including a specialized financial, inventory database within specific timeframes. You will create various documents, maintain an accurate filing system, and assist with distributions. Provide professional client service with internal and external clients in the administration of our operations. You may perform other related duties as assigned. Any exposure to financial, operational, and/or personal information is to remain confidential.
To be considered for this opportunity, you are currently a student enrolled in a post-secondary institution, available to work in the summer of 2025, and are returning to school in the Fall of 2025.
We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: standardized test(s), interview(s), physical skills test, and reference checks.
Please note, this is a casual summer student opportunity with a projected start date of May 4, 2025, and a projected end date of August 31, 2025.
