  • Assisting patrons of all ages with technology to meet a variety of information needs

Candidates should be enrolled in the UBC iSchool or an equivalent program at another educational institution and pursuing a MLIS degree. Essential requirements are:

  • a passion for customer service and connecting people with online library resources and programs

  • experience with accessing and downloading digital content (e.g., e-books, e-audiobooks)
  • the ability to work well as part of a team
  • a strong interest in or previous experience with mobile technology, apps and instructional design

The preferred candidate will be available for at least one 4-7 hour shift per week, including weekends.

The successful candidate will be required to supply an acceptable Vulnerable Sector police information check.
