We are seeking a motivated Engineering Design and Drafting Student proficient in AutoCAD to join our technical services team at the Lloydminster Upgrader! In this role, you will play a crucial part in our design and drafting processes, contributing to the creation of innovative solutions for our projects. Your strong verbal and written communication skills will be crucial as you collaborate with team members and communicate your ideas effectively.
Note: This is NOT a camp-based facility. Successful candidates will be required to relocate to Lloydminster.

What You’ll Do
- Preparing contract packages entailing design drafting of construction drawings, documentation, copying and registering documents using a computerized Technical Document Management System.
- Fieldwork within the process areas.
- Drawing searches and printing.
- AutoCAD and Micro-Station drafting assignments.
- Updating drawing and document registers.
Who You AreOur ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).
- Available to begin work in September 2025.
We acknowledge the value of transferable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
Education- Must be enrolled in Design and Drafting Technology or a relevant Diploma program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
- New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
Working Conditions- May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.
