YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS STRUCTURAL ENGINEER:

1. Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
2. Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications and reports.
3. Collaborate with architects, contractors and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
4. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
5. Prepare technical documentation, including calculations, material assessments, and progress reports.
6. Ensure designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
7. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
8. Participate in project planning, budgeting and scheduling.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER:

1. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree an asset).
2. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration in Manitoba.
3. 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis, preferably in the residential or commercial sector.
4. Proficiency with structural design software.
5. Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and standards.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
