Salary Range: $60,000.00-65,000.00/ year
Employment Term: Contract until – March 31st, 2025 (possibility of renewal), Full time hours (35 hours/ week) can include nights and weekends
General Description:
Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre is centrally located in the urban Indigenous community of Halifax and is looking for One (1) Strengthening Fathers Case Manager. The Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Center is a charitable non-profit organization which provides over 45 culturally grounded programs.
The Strengthening Fathers Program provides support for Indigenous fathers experiencing complex social, emotional and familial challenges. With the support of the Friendship Centre team, the Strengthening Fathers Case Manager will work collaboratively with fathers to build meaningful helping relationships while collectively identifying strengths, resources, challenges, and priorities using a holistic and culture-based framework.
