About the Role:

We're hiring a Strategist. Not just any Strategist—a real misfit.

You’ve likely got years of agency experience under your belt and a bookshelf (or bookmarks folder) full of frameworks. That’s cool. But what really gets you going is solving real problems with smart, clear, purposeful strategy. You see patterns where others see noise. You bring order to chaos. And you believe the best strategy makes people feel something—not just click something.

This isn’t a behind-the-scenes gig. You’ll be in the room, in the pitch, and in the thick of it with clients, creatives, and leadership alike. You’ll co-create ideas that refuse to settle—and make sure our work always has something to say.

What You’ll Do:

• Be the thinking partner everyone wants in the room—from C-level convos to creative kickoffs
• Shape brand and marketing strategy that cuts through noise and drives real connection
• Lead or support in comms planning, insight development, positioning, trend analysis, and briefing
• Work across industries and verticals—from challenger brands to partner agencies
• Collaborate directly with Account, Creative, and Strategy leadership to drive big-picture thinking
• Push our clients (and our team) to make braver, bolder decisions
• Occasionally travel for in-person workshops or client work—we believe some things are better face to face
• New Business Support: Contribute to new business pitches and proposals with strategic creative insights.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of agency experience in brand and marketing strategy, ideally across both B2C and B2B
• A strong grasp of the strategy stack: insights, positioning, messaging, planning, measurement
• A knack for simplifying the complex and making strategic thinking accessible
• Intrapreneurial energy: you think like a founder, but thrive as part of a team
• Curiosity, always. You question assumptions and chase better ways
• An affinity for brands with soul—and a desire to build work that actually matters

Brownie Points:

• Experience with both US and Canadian markets
• Located in Calgary, Alberta
