Roles and Responsibilities:
Support specific areas of the business and manage all their supplier accounts
Create and manage supplier management policies and procedures
Ensure supplier compliance with documented policies and procedures
Act as a key stakeholder in the supplier management lifecycle, including sourcing, contracting, onboarding, participating in negotiations, issue management, and offboarding
Collaborate with Business, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Security teams on RF(x) processes, technical supplier evaluations, security assessments, and other projects as needed
Work with Business, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure contracts include appropriate terms and conditions, service level agreements, key performance indicators, and escalation processes
Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance, change control adherence, and oversight
Monitor and ensure timely planning and execution of contract renewals
Track supplier performance, financial health, and SLA/KPI adherence
Facilitate resolution of disputes between the business and suppliers
Set up regular check-ins with supplier account managers and support ongoing communication between stakeholders and supplier operations teams
Plan and lead regular business reviews and executive meetings based on stakeholder cadence
Assist the business in demand planning and track progress against the plan
Identify and escalate budget overages in a timely manner
Ensure all relevant supplier data is automated and visible on dashboards
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive experience in managing supplier relationships critical to a cloud and platform technology business
Experience in creating and managing a supplier risk management program
Strong communication skills, including the ability to provide executive-level updates and presentations
Excellent analytical, organizational, tactical, and strategic planning skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting legal documents such as contracts, NDAs, and terms & conditions
Collaborative mindset with the ability to empower team success
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, establish workflows, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing cloud vendors
Familiarity with the software/platform / SaaS industry
Background in vendor management and/or procurement
