Store Manager

Job duties:

• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Assemble visual displays to promote products and promotional events
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
• Conduct POS sales transactions, returns and price overrides
• Assist and advise customers in purchasing musical instruments, as well as use and care of merchandise
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service.
• Assist and advise head office staff in developing strategies to expand store traffic and optimize profitability.

Terms of employment: Full time, permanent

Language of work: English

Wage: $67,275 annual salary (subject to periodic raises)

Skills Requirements:

Education: College Diploma

Work experience: 2 years of work experience as a retail supervisor in the music industry.
