Store Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a skilled Store Manager in the lumber and building materials space in Kemptville, ON. We're in the process of converting an existing store to a separate franchise. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing team that is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with its contractors, community, and staff. This position will be responsible for the new operational challenges that come with conversion, re-merchandising, and daily operations of the store to set goals and business objectives.

Minimum Requirements

1. Previous experience in the lumber and building materials industry
2. Experience in a retail or leadership position: Assistant Manager, Manager, General Manager, etc.
3. Relationships/connections with local contractors
4. Proven customer service skills, ability to train new staff, effective communicator and team builder
5. Able to plan, organize, and delegate work effectively and manage multiple projects

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous experience at Home Depot, Rona, Lowes, Canadian Tire.
