Moyer Diebel Limited manufactures stainless steel Commercial Dishwashers and we are seeking full-time workers for our manufacturing facility in Jordan Station, Ontario. Currently, we are looking for a Stock Controller for our Shipping/Receiving Department.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual who is comfortable learning all aspects of the stockroom functions.

Primary duties of the position will include:

1. Starting off as a General Labourer to gain advancement to a Stock Controller position.
2. Operate a computer to access shipping and receiving related information.
3. Operate or complete training to operate a forklift.
4. Complete cycle counts, packing of orders, loading and unloading shipments.
5. Read blueprints and check parts using calipers and measuring tools.
6. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
7. Regularly carry weight up to 50 pounds.
8. Work shifts is a must as we have a weekly rotating shift.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college/vocational or technical training
• Previous experience in the stockroom/warehouse environment
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good verbal communication skills to relay information to other crew members and receive instructions
• Problem-solving skills
• Work well independently and as a team member
• Fluency in English

Salary and Benefits:

• Start: $18.50/hr (for the probation period) Pay range: $23.05 – $27.44/hr
• 42.5 hours per week as per collective agreement
• Group insurance benefits after successful completion of probationary period

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Specific Skills: Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving experience, Computer use.

Own tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety shoes or boots, Safety glasses

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and standing/walking for extended periods

Transportation/Travel information: Own transportation, public transit is not available
