Staff Attorney I

The League of Minnesota Cities is seeking a Staff Attorney I to research and answer a variety of oral and written inquiries on municipal government, with legal, policy, governance, management, and service delivery implications, by member cities, city attorneys, and state agencies which reflect considerable knowledge of local government.

Responsibilities include:

1. Participating in various roles on projects of department- or League-wide scope.
2. Researching, updating, and writing materials on municipal law, legislative, or loss-control topics.
3. Providing interdepartmental legal analysis and research assistance.
