We are a full-service CPA firm which provides assurance, accounting, and tax services to various industries across Ontario. We are hiring:

A full-time entry-level staff accountant - this role will gain experience in full-cycle accounting by performing bookkeeping, drafting personal and corporate tax returns, and preparing financial statements for compilation engagements. The role will include:

  • Performing bookkeeping and preparing adjusting accounting entries
  • Preparing personal tax returns, corporate tax returns, HST returns, T4, T5 etc.
  • Assisting with drafting of financial statements for compilation engagements
  • Drafting client correspondences for compilation engagements
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients with responsive communication and customer service
  • Performing administrative work as required (i.e. scanning, responding to client requests and assembling client year-end packages)

QuickBooks experience is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe is required as we are a paperless office. We will provide training as necessary for tax and accounting software. Training on CPA Code of Ethics will be provided once a year.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
