Sr. Software Developer(C+, Linux)

Job Description: Our client in Winnipeg is looking for a Software Developer (C++, Linux).

Must Have Primary Skills:

1. 10+ years of experience in developing native or desktop applications using C++, preferably in a Linux-based environment.
2. 5+ years of experience developing native UI-based applications using C++ in QT and QML (Qt 5 or 6).
3. Develop a detailed work plan for SDLC activities to accommodate completion of the work within the specified project timeline and budget.
4. Unit test, integration, and system test.
5. Design and develop high-quality and scalable software applications and OTA software updates for devices on-board vehicles.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills:

1. Participate in code reviews to improve quality and compliance.

Proven Experience In:

1. Experience with map-based native applications.
2. Experience with TTS (Text-to-speech) libraries.
3. Experience with OTA (Over the Air) software and OS update frameworks like Mender, RAUC, or similar.
4. Experience with messaging systems like MQTT or similar.
