Opportunity Description:

The company seeks a Senior Manager /Director, Packaging, supporting the execution of RBI’s global sustainability plans. The Senior Manager will assist in strategy development and lead implementation of the company’s sustainability efforts in strategic areas.

Essential Responsibilities:

Strategic Thinking:

  1. Lead management of RBI sustainability strategy, goal- and policy-setting process for packaging with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Benchmark, synthesize, and communicate external and internal trends and insights.

Project Management:

  1. Manage and execute elements of RBI’s sustainability plan, and oversee project management for cross-functional departments.
  2. Develop and implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track progress against packaging sustainability goals.

Communication & Reporting:

  1. Track and report progress against work plans, including external sustainability commitments.
  2. Work in collaboration with the sustainability team to update external RBI communications.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Current and clear understanding of sustainability concepts, particularly in the food industry.
  2. Project Management expertise is also required.

Education and Experience:

  1. Undergraduate degree in relevant field, Master’s degree in business, operations, sustainability or a related field a plus.
  2. 7+ years of relevant professional experience in packaging and sustainability.
