Pay Details: $76,800 - $115,200 CAD. This role is temporarily eligible for a pay premium above the posted salary range that is reassessed annually. You are encouraged to have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide more specific pay details for this role.

Department Overview:

Technology Solutions is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of trading and operational systems at TD Securities. We support these applications for Front Office, Operations, Middle Office, Market Risk, Credit Management, and downstream systems in Enterprise Technology Solutions.

Position Overview – Sr. IT Support Analyst, Risk Technology Solutions

This role is primarily responsible for providing RTB support for Risk Management applications for wholesale and retail banking.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality application and user support to ensure IT systems availability, reliability, and performance that support business processes globally.
• Perform proactive application health checks to prevent potential failures.
• Manage the Incident through to completion. Engage various IT teams in resolving incidents efficiently and effectively.
• Perform effective problem management on recurring incidents. Lead and manage problems throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure problem resolutions are released in production on-time and with high quality.
• Ensure all changes to the Production Environment follow the TD Securities Change management process.
• Ensure change activities are performed on time, minimizing risk to the service/business environment.
• Proactively review IT environment to ensure that steps are taken to support new IT related regulations and address gaps in the procedure.
• Perform scheduled activities such as DR testing, user attestations, remediation of control audit, etc.
• Update knowledge-based articles in a timely manner and conduct training across regions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Client(s), Relationship Managers, and Project Managers.
• Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project/business objectives and providing client services.
• Support a positive work environment that promotes customer service, quality, innovation, and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/points of interest.
• Provide after-hours support if required.

Job Requirements

• Experience in Banking Operations technologies such as equity trading, equity derivatives, and equity back-office operations.
• Practical working experience in multi-tier applications support will be an asset.
• Practical experience of support both Physical and VMware environments.
• Understanding of equity financial markets and products.
• Experience working with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure support teams will be an asset.
• Knowledge of scripting, automation, and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
• Working experience with technologies like Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, Python, and Java will be an asset.
