Job description

Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of interconnect products in the world and is looking for a Sr. IT Project Manager to manage transformation and modernization projects related to infrastructure and ERP.

Location: Markham – Hybrid

PERMANENT POSITION

International Travel: 25-30%

Responsibilities:

  1. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  2. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  3. Manage the development of new system functionality, upgrades, system modifications, and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution.
  4. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  5. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  6. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  7. Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  8. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

Must Haves:

  1. 8+ years in IT project management.
  2. Experience with transformation and modernization projects related to infrastructure and ERP.
  3. PMP certification.
  4. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

  1. Agile, Scrum Master, or ITIL certifications.
