Position Title: Senior Information Security Analyst

About AGI

AGI is a provider of the physical equipment and digital technology solutions required to support global food infrastructure including grain, fertilizer, seed, feed, and food processing systems.

The Opportunity

The Senior Information Security Analyst (ISA) is responsible for day-to-day operations and management of the enterprise information security program to ensure information assets and technologies are secure. This role requires a strong technical background and experience in introducing cyber security programs to the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and oversee IT cyber security projects from start to finish.
  • Responsible for day-to-day security operations and assist in AGI’s Information Security Awareness Program.
  • Manage identity and access management (IAM) with the Director, IT Infrastructure and Security.
  • Perform internal Security Risk Assessments to analyze the effectiveness of AGI cybersecurity controls.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Provide security guidance and technical expertise for all IT projects.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to document and maintain IT security.
  • Contribute to a better understanding of technology across AGI.
  • Assess IT risks and compliance and advise on security best practices.
  • Contribute to IT Risk, Governance and Compliance Framework.
  • Develop security standards and controls for networks, servers, and data.
  • Develop ongoing Technology Risk reporting.
  • Act as the point of escalation for serious security incidents.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure a SecDevOps approach.
  • Manage outsourced IT security service providers.
  • Perform internal Security Audits.
  • Complete external requirements for IT Security Audits.
  • Conduct IT Security Assessments on third-party providers.
  • Continually scan external environments for new ideas.

Qualifications

  • A post-secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in IT roles with at least 3-5 years in IT security.
  • Highly skilled in project management and security platform implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of various security platforms.
  • Knowledge of Penetration and Web Application Testing.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • One or more relevant certifications preferred.
  • Security Investigation experience is an asset.
  • Experience collaborating with business and IT Operations.
  • Experience in policy and procedure development.
  • Experience performing risk assessments and technical security testing.
  • Knowledge of NIST Framework and Cloud Security.
  • Working knowledge of routing, switching, and security devices.
  • Experience with security monitoring tools.
