Pay: $35-50/hr, based upon experience and skill level

Job Responsibilities:
- Service and Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency services on commercial/industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including rack refrigeration. Conduct inspections, startups, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure system functionality and efficiency.
- Maintain systems by performing regular maintenance and checking the integrity of components and installations.
Technical Skills:
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve issues, minimizing downtime. Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation accurately.
- Understand and apply local and federal codes (e.g., NFPA 54, NFPA 31, EPA, CSD1).
Communication and Documentation:
- Communicate job status and information with the dispatcher regularly.
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Maintain meticulous records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, equipment specifications, and client communications.
Additional Duties:
- Provide on-the-job training to service apprentices when required.
- Prepare and submit reports, requests for supplies, and complete all timecards, work orders, and purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in HVAC technology and best practices.

Technical Proficiency:

Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds repetitively, and climb and work from ladders up to 40 feet.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of related experience
- Certifications:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Universal EPA certification.
- Vermont Type S electrical license.
- VT and/or NH Natural gas certification, VT and/or NH LP gas certification, NH and/or VT NORA Silver oil certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
