Job Title: Sr. Financial Analyst

Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced ultrasound equipment designed for quality assurance of industrial spot welds. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join their executive team and drive their financial strategy as they continue to grow and expand their global operations.
Position Summary: The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for the overall financial management, planning, and strategic direction of the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry. The Sr. Financial Analyst will oversee all financial activities, ensure the company's financial health, and contribute to the achievement of their long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth.
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international regulations.
- Operational Finance:
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital to optimize financial performance.
- Oversee cost management, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
- Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework.
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Provide leadership in the development of financial strategies and initiatives.
- Mergers and Acquisitions:
- Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities and lead due diligence efforts.
- Manage integration of acquired companies to ensure financial alignment and synergy.
- Stakeholder Relations:
- Serve as a key point of contact for financial stakeholders, including investors and banks.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to the board of directors and executive team.
Qualifications:
- CPA, CMA, or CFA designation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial management role.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of international finance, including experience with US and German markets.
- Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; experience with Sage 50 is a plus.
