Position Overview

ERIS is looking for a qualified Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team, reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing. This role will support the creation of marketing communications and assets that inspire our customers to engage, learn more, trial and buy ERIS solutions, as well as set our products apart from the competition. Proficiency in writing, email marketing, and creating impactful graphic designs and videos are a must, as is the knowledge of a range of marketing methods and best practices. You would work in a team and collaborate with other marketing professionals, both digital and creative practitioners. This is a full-time hybrid position working from our Toronto office.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Development and Sales teams to understand customer needs, and product features / benefits; and to develop communications and assets (graphic and video) that incorporate those insights.
  • Specifically, create and execute digital marketing content and executions such as ads, case studies, website and promotional copy, blog posts, and sales videos across various mediums.
  • Develop social media posts that support brand and product promotion.
  • Research competitor pricing, marketing content, and strategies.
  • Take on supplementary tasks and responsibilities, when needed.

Qualifications, Competencies & Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital marketing campaigns via the web, email, and social platforms.
  • Sound experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to create a variety of digital assets, including mockups, video, ads, web / email graphics.
  • A strong knowledge of website CMS (WordPress, SEO, HTML).
  • A good understanding of digital analytics and web metrics, and the ability to generate and analyze such data.
  • Proficiency and experience with market automation systems, as well as working knowledge of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Engagement would be a definite asset.
  • Must be able to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial as they play a significant role in this position.

Desired Qualification & Experience

  • A College Diploma / University degree in writing, business communications or marketing fields.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and / or content development within a technology-based industry (business-to-business preferred).
  • Knowledge of environmental land use, commercial real estate or property due diligence is an asset.
