Sr. DevOps Engineer to provision cloud infrastructure on AWS, Snowflake and Databricks resources for a major insurance client

Position: Sr. DevOps Engineer to provision cloud infrastructure on AWS, Snowflake and Databricks resources for a major insurance client

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Location: Hybrid (twice a week in Toronto or Montreal)

Must haves:

• 5+ yrs exp as a DevOps Engineer within AWS cloud environment (S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Data Backup, AWS Backup)
• 3+ yrs writing Terraform modules from scratch
• Hands-on experience on CICD and automation tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Github, Dynatrace, Prisma Cloud)
• Github/Github actions

Nice to haves:

• Snowflake/Databricks
• Knowledge of DataScience, Data Engineering, AI Engineering
• Prisma Cloud
• Dynatrace

Responsibilities:

• Help various project teams to provision cloud infrastructure on AWS, Snowflake and Databricks resources.
• Help and support project teams to build CICD pipelines using Jenkins and Github actions in order to deploy applications to different environments.
• Provide support to various project teams on the environments, help Data Scientists, Data Engineers, AI Engineers, BA and QA on various requests, such as troubleshooting errors, access control, monitoring, alerting, patching, and other operational support.
