This position will be part of the Rogers Business Data Strategy and Analytics team. The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for the development and support of a variety of initiatives that will allow the team to develop and share key business insights with the larger Business Team.

What you will be doing:

  1. Support the Business unit’s insights priorities, acting as a liaison between the team and various cross-functional teams.
  2. Analyze stakeholder requirements and find actionable, value-added solutions to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in large, complex data sets.
  4. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and create datasets as necessary.
  5. Filter, clean and transform data into information, insight, and actionable business decisions.
  6. Track project progress and communicate results with stakeholders.
  7. Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations and insight.
  8. Participate in data visualization using common tools like Excel, PowerBI, or SFDC dashboards.

What you will bring:

  1. Post-secondary education in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management or Computer Science – or equivalent experience.
  2. Refined analytical and programming skills.
  3. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  4. Must have proficiency in SQL and experience working with Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Alteryx, SAS, Oracle, Tableau, PowerBI and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Two to five years of telecommunications Industry experience.
  6. Excellent written and oral communication.
  7. Solid relationship building and influencing skills, with a proven ability to work within a team.
  8. Strong sense of ownership and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week.

If you are selected to move forward in the recruitment process, here is what you can expect:

  1. 15-minute phone screen with your recruiter
  2. 1-hour virtual interview with Hiring Manager
  3. 30-minute final round virtual interview with Director of the team

As part of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be required to complete a background check which includes credit and criminal checks.

To protect our people, brand and assets, a pre-employment background check will be conducted. All candidates must clear a criminal background check. Additionally, a credit check and drivers abstract may be required depending on the role.
