What You’ll Be Doing

The Sr. Consultant DevSecOps is responsible for defining DevSecOps tooling, technology, and process roadmap; collecting and identifying DevSecOps requirements and gaps; designing and implementing DevSecOps solutions to automate source control, build, packaging, deployment, code quality control, application security, and providing guidance and support to the DevSecOps practice along with supporting the implementation of traditional Application Security capabilities. The Consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of systems and applications. The DevSecOps Consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain robust infrastructure, automate processes, and implement best practices for monitoring and incident response.

How You’ll Succeed

• Strategic Development & Execution: Perform and coordinate complex DevOps solution design activities. Understand the system requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap. Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations. Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiency.

• Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the DevOps solution lead and interface with various technology teams by driving and moderating design review sessions to walk stakeholders through and ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions. Support and mentor junior DevSecOps engineers and developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and effective problem solving.

Who You Are

• You can demonstrate 8+ years’ experience in: designing, developing, implementing, and supporting DevSecOps tooling and pipeline with expertise in most of the following: GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Git, TFS, JIRA. Extensive knowledge and experience with Cloud native Java application build and deployment automation in large organizations.
