Job Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Senior Manager and Director of Digital Products to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure that the digital solutions align with our financial objectives and strategies.

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a diligent and analytical Business Analyst to join our Finance Digital Products & AI team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting the development and enhancement of digital applications within the Finance function.

What will you do?

  1. Perform detailed analysis and provide inputs to solution design - identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving requirement, data and systems issues.
  2. In an Agile environment, analyze Business requirements and create documentation such as system requirements, data catalogues and user stories.
  3. Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders in CFO and IT teams (i.e. source and downstream systems).
  4. Contribute to successful project completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies.
  5. Manage and refine intake process for initiatives related to Digital Ecosystem and Artificial Intelligence.
  6. Adhere to enterprise Agile requirements methodology in requirements planning, analysis and documentation.
  7. Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  8. Collaborate with data scientists to understand AI and GenAI principles, and effectively communicate these concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Manage project scope, timeline, and resources using Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Business/Systems Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex regulatory projects.
  2. Proficiency in using SQL and Tableau for querying and analyzing large amounts of data.
  3. Proven experience working in Agile project management methodology.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to build rapport with team members, stakeholders, IT and business partners.

Nice-to-have

  1. Certified, or actively working towards, Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute – Professional in Business Analysis (PMI – PBA) Certification or Masters Certificate in Business Analysis will be an asset.
  2. Basic understanding of Python, Jira, PowerApps.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  4. Understanding of Accounting, Performance Management and ledger concepts and practices.
