Sr. Business Analyst [BHJOB13022_13440]

On behalf of our Financial Services Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst on a contract basis.

Summary of the role:
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in leading and managing transformational projects within a dynamic financial services environment. The role requires strong experience in business analysis, fintech technologies, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will work on-site one day per week in Vancouver or Toronto, based on their location.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Lead the gathering of business requirements for IT system design and implementation.
2. Manage and oversee transformational projects from inception to delivery.
3. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
4. Provide insights on fintech technologies and drive innovation.
5. Serve as a change leader, effectively communicating project value and vision.

Core Requirements:

1. 5-7 years of Business Analysis experience in the financial services sector.
2. Proven track record in leading large-scale transformational projects.
3. Hands-on experience with fintech technologies.
4. Proficiency in waterfall methodology; agile methodology experience is an asset.
5. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Experience gathering requirements for IT system design and implementation.
2. Ability to influence and drive change through storytelling and leadership.
3. Innovative problem-solving skills.

Terms:
This is an 11-month contract with potential for renewals. The role follows a hybrid work model, with candidates in Vancouver expected to be on-site every Wednesday, and those in Toronto working on-site one day per week. Successful candidates will undergo reference and background checks before receiving an offer.
