Be part of our talented and growing team! We are currently looking for a Sr Analyst, Treasury Securitization, to join our team reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury Funding and Liquidity Management.
As a Sr Analyst, Treasury Securitization, you will be responsible for managing and executing the daily, weekly, and monthly processes for Fairstone’s securitization facilities and will support new transaction executions. You will evolve into becoming the subject matter expert on our securitization processes and system, SecureHub. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Administer our credit card and consumer loans securitization program and act as a backup for mortgage securitization operations.
- Perform day-to-day securitization activities, including asset designation, sale process and prepare accurate and timely servicer reporting.
- Monitor pool performance and asset eligibility compliance for our securitization facility and make recommendations for asset additions and buybacks.
- Create dashboards and prepare trending analysis for consumer loans and credit card securitization facilities by leveraging SecureHub Analytical tools.
- Act as the champion and subject matter expert for SecureHub system and lead system upgrades/updates testing and troubleshooting/issue resolution process.
- Support the securitization audit process and act as key contact for back-up servicers.
- Participate in the implementation of new financing facilities by providing the necessary financial analysis, assisting in the preparation of investor and rating agency presentations, and creating the operational processes to manage them.
- Provide required support to the ALCO, Board meetings, monthly/quarterly compliance reporting, financial statements, and audit activities.
- Assist in the preparation of official corporate presentations to investors, lenders, rating agencies, senior management, executives, and Board of Directors.
- Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, and processes, including the Securitization Back-up Servicer Plan.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and practices.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master’s in finance/Mathematics or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate financing and securitization, risk management, and financial analysis; financial services industry experience will be an asset.
- CFA, CPA, or MBA designation considered an asset.
- Strong proven financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent computer skills: Advanced Excel (macros, VBA is desired), Power BI Pro, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg; experience in programming or database management is an asset.
- Strong written, spoken, and presentation communication skills with the ability to synthesize information.
- Experience in working with external constituents, including vendors, ratings agencies, analysts, bankers, and stakeholders.
