Our Opportunity:

The Digital Analytics & Planning team is an integral business function within the Digital department of Tim Hortons, partnering with the product, technology, and marketing functions to support the rapid growth of Digital at Tim Hortons. This team owns workstreams and projects on performance measurement, business case development, data analysis, dashboarding, reporting & process automation.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Digital Analytics & Planning, your knowledge of digital & loyalty programs, technology, and marketing combined with your analytical abilities and communication skills will shape the way we run our business. Your day-to-day will be focused on writing SQL, analyzing data, testing hypotheses, generating insights, and partnering up with the right stakeholders to determine the best path forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver, and present analytics and reporting on digital guests spending & behavioral habits as necessary.
  • Track ongoing digital guest experience performance across multiple KPIs and derive meaningful insights.
  • Advise on best practices for analytics, business case development, and providing ongoing customer support.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to build and scale tools that allow for automation and faster delivery on insights across the organization.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses on Tim Hortons Digital projects to measure results and identify risks/opportunities as well as formulate go-forward plans.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of work experience focused on analytics, accounting, finance, or consulting.
  • Familiarity with SQL or Python for data analysis is required; competence with data analysis in Excel/Power Point is expected.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud is an asset.
  • Ability to connect data from disparate sources in complex yet flexible analyses to support rapid scenario modelling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter displaying high initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to operate independently.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling a large volume of work.
  • Ability to take large datasets and generate actionable insights.
