Job description
  • Salary 22.00 to 35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 50 hours per week
  • Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
  • Shifts: Day, Overtime, Morning
  • Starts: As soon as possible

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment
  • Test equipment to locate transmission faults
  • Install trunking systems, circuits and equipment
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures
  • Splice, join and connect wires

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

  • Working at heights training
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

  • Copper
  • Aerial and underground cable lines
