What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Provide daily support for Citrix Xendesktop environment with users in various geographical locations
2. Implement rigorous monitoring of VDI environment using tools such as Citrix Director and Citrix Command Center
3. Develop and implement update and deployment process for WMS/ThinOs image for internal and external terminals
4. Establish and operate information and communication management systems (SIG)
5. Actively participate in planning and implementation of new projects
6. Interface with vendors and internal global teams to ensure environment compliance with standards
7. Manage business continuity in relation to disaster recovery
8. Maintain high levels of system reliability, availability, and resilience
9. Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support for production environments
10. Proactively monitor system performance and manage capacity
11. Perform system upgrades and mandatory security/OS patches
12. Provide 24/7 on-call support based on team rotation
13. Conduct thorough morning checks on all critical applications using existing tools or scripts
14. Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures regarding change and incident management
15. Ensure all systems are deployed in accordance with group standards and best practices
16. Incident and problem management: take ownership and work with the team to resolve production-related issues
17. Follow standard group security practices in the environment
18. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of hardware and infrastructure software
19. Excellent communication skills in English, as the position requires communication with clients outside of Quebec

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. 5 to 7 years of experience in managing Citrix Xendesktop/XenApp architecture and components
2. Good knowledge of Citrix Xendesktop 7.X architecture and components
3. Good knowledge of Citrix Netscaler 10.X technology
4. Good knowledge of Microsoft operating system (Win 7, 64bit & Win 10), Office Suite, and Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, etc.)
5. Good knowledge of Windows operating system components and technologies such as Windows registry, PowerShell, etc.
6. Good knowledge of Active Directory
7. Good knowledge of SSL certificate implementation
8. Good understanding of firewall rules implementation and troubleshooting
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills
