Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the manufacturing strategy for new programs.
  • Build a robust process for design for manufacturing within the Product Development environment including a clearly defined requirements definition and adherence process.
  • Review industry trends in manufacturing innovation and provide strategic recommendations to the company.
  • Support the refinement of process standards for Manufacturing Engineering across all Bombardier manufacturing sites.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in aerospace manufacturing or industrial engineering.
  • You have at least 15 years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in project management delivering proven results.
  • You have Product Development experience and understand the Aircraft development phases.
  • You have excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and gain buy-in for integration initiatives.
  • You have demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate multi-functional teams, drive change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • You have a proven ability to develop and capitalize on new business opportunities, set business goals, and deliver on plans.
  • You can be Controlled Goods certified and support defense initiatives that may require additional military clearances.
