As we continue to elevate our guests' experience, we are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Sommelier to join our team.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Sommelier to manage and enhance our wine program. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and pairings and will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional wine experience for our guests. As the Sommelier, you will work closely with our Wine Director to ensure seamless food and wine pairings, provide expert recommendations to guests, and contribute to the continuous development of our wine list.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and update an extensive wine list, ensuring diversity and quality across regions and varietals.
  2. Provide expert recommendations and create personalized wine pairings to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
  3. Educate and train front-of-house staff on the wine program, proper service techniques, and wine pairings.
  4. Oversee wine inventory, ensuring proper storage conditions and efficient stock rotation.
  5. Stay up-to-date with wine trends, new releases, and emerging regions to maintain a cutting-edge wine list.
  6. Work closely with the kitchen team to create exceptional pairings that complement seasonal menu offerings.
  7. Host wine tastings, events, and wine dinners to engage guests and build a strong brand presence.
  8. Ensure wine service adheres to the highest standards of excellence, from opening and decanting bottles to glassware selection.
  9. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and wineries to source unique and premium wines.

Qualifications:
  1. Extensive knowledge of wine regions, varietals, production methods, and wine trends.
  2. Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), or equivalent certification preferred.
  3. Proven experience as a Sommelier in a fine-dining restaurant or upscale hospitality environment.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for educating guests and staff about wine.
  5. Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  6. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  7. Enthusiasm for providing exceptional guest service and delivering a memorable dining experience.
  8. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
