About the Role:

As a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a critical technical expert and advisor during the sales process, providing technical guidance, conducting product demonstrations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth system integration for our clients. You will collaborate closely with Business Development, Account Directors, Client Success Managers (CSMs) and Product to deliver exceptional customer experiences and seamless transitions from pre-sales to post-sales support.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise during the trial phase to ensure the success of proof-of-concept demonstrations and pilot projects.
  • Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and position our solutions effectively.
  • Conduct engaging and informative product demos alongside sales representatives to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during the trial and demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to facilitate seamless system integration and implementation of solutions.
  • Provide guidance on best practices and assist in the configuration and customization of solutions to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales by working closely with Account Directors and Customer Success Managers (CSMs).
  • Document all technical and project-related information for handoff.
  • Lead and respond to IT/security-related client questionnaires and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure solutions comply with industry standards and customer security policies.
  • Document product-related feedback and suggestions from clients, inquire further into use cases, and clearly communicate the needs to the Product team.

Qualifications:

Experience and Proficiencies:

  • Proven experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and troubleshooting software solutions.
  • Familiarity with IT and security requirements, including handling questionnaires and audits.
  • Full proficiency in professional-level English and French; a requirement.
  • Experience working in the language translation industry is a valuable asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS and providing technical support.
  • Understanding of translation and localization workflows is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Gmail, G-drive).
  • Working knowledge and proficiency using CRM software (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.).

  • Alexa Translations is a rapidly growing, highly entrepreneurial translation services company. The successful candidate will have access to an office at our current Toronto or Montreal locations and tools that will allow you to work from home when required (laptop, G-suite).
