Solutions Developer

Job Title: Solutions Developer

Contract Duration: 6 months (Extension possible)

Pay range: $65 - 78/hr

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Type: Hybrid (In office 2 days a week - Monday is the anchor day)

Summary of day-to-day Responsibilities

1. The Solutions Developer works with Business system analysis to understand requirements and assist in the design of solutions.
2. Consume technical specifications/design and turn into working solutions using Databricks, Python, SQL, and SSIS.
3. Perform unit testing on code.
4. Participate in code reviews of other developers' code.
5. Attend Agile ceremonies and keep the team updated on progress and blockers of your task.
6. Produce documentation on solutions and participate in handover meetings.

Required Education/ Experience

1. Degree/Certifications Required: Computer science or related - Azure certification nice to have
2. Years of experience: 10 years of related experience

Must Haves

1. Databricks 2-3yrs
2. Python 2-5yrs
3. Azure data factory 2-3 yrs
4. TSQL 2-3yrs
5. GIT

Nice to Have

1. SSIS
2. General Azure experience
3. Experience with JIRA/Confluence
