We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such asRecruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Recruitment Augmentation complimented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.

Job Overview:

THIS POSITION IS HOME-BASED SO YOU CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN QUEBEC OR THE MARITIMES; APPROX 30% TRAVEL DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU’RE LOCATED.

Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the Company’s annual sales quota for assigned territory, selling our client’s products and services directly to prospective customers. Reports to Director, Sales - Canada.

Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve sales objectives primarily through sales to new customers and also through sales of additional services to existing customers
  2. Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, networking and partner relationships
  3. Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close
  4. Work closely with pre-sales team to develop effective sales strategies
  5. Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about our client’s products and services
  6. Develop and maintain an effective business, sales and marketing plan for assigned territory
  7. Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, competitive offerings and other business issues relevant to the position
  8. Use effective time and territory management to maximize results by consistently maintaining a reasonable number of new weekly face-to-face prospect meetings
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with third party vendors to increase direct selling opportunities
  10. Respond to RFPs/RFIs, coordinating and organizing input from multiple sources
  11. Properly forecasts monthly, quarterly and annual revenue numbers for assigned territory
  12. Document daily sales activities in sales force automation tool, prepare reports, manage pipeline and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to sales management
  13. Be an active team player both on the sales team and throughout the Enterprise to help meet company objectives
  14. Provide feedback from field experience to sales management as well as internal cross-functional teams with regard to product, selling, competitive, etc. matters
  15. Interacts with sales, marketing and external customers
  16. Operates under moderate supervision
  17. Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies

Education, Experience & Training required:

  1. BA/BS or equivalent experience
  2. 3+ years successful business-to-business software or web-based solution sales experience, preferably to Accounting departments at companies with a headcount of 200-1,000 employees
  3. Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas
  4. Consultative sales training
  5. Ability to pass a background check

Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  1. Must be fluent in English and French
  2. Highly motivated and able to work independently
  3. Creative problem solver
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion and presentation abilities
  5. Excellent telephone skills
  6. Sales experience with financial/accounting applications is a strong plus
  7. Strong business acumen
  8. Excellent PC and Internet skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, sales force automation tools and web presentation applications (Webex, Placeware, etc.)
  9. This is a home office based position
  10. Job involves 25% to 35% travel
