Software Engineering Lead

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of our technology stack. As a senior technical leader, you will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and build scalable solutions that power predictive fleet maintenance at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable software solutions for our fleet maintenance platform.
• Architect and implement systems that process large-scale vehicle data, applying AI/ML-driven insights.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to build intuitive, impactful features.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement.
• Optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and efficiency in real-time vehicle monitoring and predictive maintenance.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance our platform’s capabilities and maintainability.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in backend or full-stack development.
• Skills/experience should include NLP, AI prompt engineering, SQL, React.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go (or similar languages) and experience with modern frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems.
• Experience working with large-scale data processing (Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-impact software products.
• Ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers in best practices.
