About this Role
We are looking for a colleague to join a team of technology professionals as they deliver a wide range of application and/or system solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform activities developing components of solutions with a focus on analytics, support, testing, and proof of concepts aligned to business and technology objectives.
2. Provide technical expertise with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security.
3. Plan, evaluate, recommend, design, operationalize and support solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
4. Provide a broad range of system solutions development to business problems through the development and programming of applications/systems.
5. Work in a fast-paced Agile environment, embracing challenges and learning every day.
6. Work to meet delivery milestones, ensuring that project deliverables are on time, within budget, and adhere to corporate quality and security standards.
7. Perform medium to moderately complex technical tasks under general supervision.
8. Develop program specifications, alongside integrating/testing/debugging program execution.
9. Follow TD's technology delivery practices and standards, and project management disciplines.

Requirements

1. Undergraduate degree (Computer Science)
2. Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka framework and underlying concepts and principles
3. Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and principles (Java, Spring Boot)
4. Experience building RESTful APIs and strong understanding of varying data formats (JSON/YAML)
5. Core knowledge and understanding of the DevOps lifecycle (Git, Maven, GitHub, CI/CD)
6. Strong Relational Database Management knowledge and skills (SQL)
7. Working knowledge of Linux-based environments, alongside Bash scripting
8. Foundational knowledge of specific domain or engineering frameworks, tools, and processes
9. 2-3 years relevant experience

1. Knowledge of security authentication/authorization concepts (SAML, SASL/OAuth)
