Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Maintain: Build and maintain server-side logic, including database interactions, server-side applications, and data storage solutions.
2. Write High-Quality Code: Deliver clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to company coding standards and best practices.
3. Collaborate: Work closely with senior engineers, front-end developers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver robust backend solutions.
4. Participate in Code Reviews: Provide constructive feedback to peers and learn from senior team members to continuously improve code quality and team collaboration.
5. Optimize for Performance: Ensure applications are optimized for performance and scalability to handle growing user demands effectively.
6. Stay Ahead: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, contributing fresh ideas and insights to team discussions.

Qualifications Requirements:

1. B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 2+ years of production-level application development experience using Java/J2EE, ideally with frameworks like Quarkus or Spring.
3. 1+ years of production-level application development experience using Node.js.
4. Familiarity with service-oriented architecture concepts, principles, and patterns.
5. Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs or working with event-driven queues.
6. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) design principles.
7. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with services like EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Apache Kafka, and S3.
8. Experience with database technologies and a strong understanding of database schema design.
9. Experience with event-driven architectures.
10. Basic troubleshooting experience with observability tools like Datadog or similar.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Experience with additional programming languages such as Python or Golang.
2. Familiarity with a Frontend JavaScript Framework, like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
3. Exposure to automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
