Software Development Engineer, AWS Billing & Procurement Experience

As a software developer, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and validate functionalities and features that will help to evolve our invoicing systems using cutting-edge technologies like DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, and more. Key job responsibilities

1. Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in object-oriented languages.
2. Build highly available, secure systems in a micro-services architecture.
3. Collaborate with some of the best engineers in the industry to work on some of the most complex challenges in large-scale computing.
4. Find out what it takes to engineer systems for Amazon scale.
5. Own and operate the systems that you build based on real-time customer data and demanding service-level agreements.
6. Contribute to planning, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement as a member of a Scrum team.

Minimum Requirements

1. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2. 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
3. Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
4. 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
5. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
