Must Have

• 2-5 years of experience as a Developer.
• Angular JS v2+
• RESTful Web services
• Javascript
• Typescript
• HTML 5.0, CSS
• Experience with AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA a must
• Demonstrated experience with AODA compliance

Description

Responsibilities:

Designing, developing and implementing front end code including user interface interactions and creating attractive and effective user interfaces. Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests. Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

• Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications
• Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications
• Experience in application design, latest design patterns, deployment and troubleshooting

• Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using query languages
• Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
• Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
• Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
• Ability to provide user and system documentation as required

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

The consultant must have the following number of years’ experience with the tools and/or products:

• Java – 1+ Years
• Oracle Database – 1+ Years
• DB SQL including Objects such as Tables, Views, Sequences, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers – 1 Year+
• Angular JS v15+ - 1+
• Javascript - 1+
• Typescript - 1+
• HTML 5.0, CSS - 5+
• Node such as NPM - 5+
• Spring Framework (MVC, Security, JPA, Boot) – 1+ Years
• Java Development IDE Tools: Eclipse, IBM RAD, IBM RSA, InteliJ, Visual Studio Code
• Bitbucket – 1+
• Experience with Responsive Web application development

The consultant who have any of these are a plus:

• REST API

• Solid Understanding of Agile
• Object Oriented coding practices, including design patterns knowledge, refactoring, clean code.
