Come join the Front-end Tooling team as a Software Engineer II. As part of the Tooling team, you'll be building industry-leading tools & services used by all front-end engineers at Intuit. You can expect to get your hands on any part of the technical stack, but you will primarily be building the tools that power the next generation of micro frontend apps.
Responsibilities
Successful delivery of high quality tools and infrastructure (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding
Contribute to quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, design, and code
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, design, or business units to drive forward results
Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers
Qualifications
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
2+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.
Strong experience with front-end ecosystems and tools, e.g. webpack, rollup, babel, etc.
Strong experience developing in Node.js and Typescript
Experience with modern Web development, e.g. React, HTML/CSS/JS, TypeScript, etc.
An understanding and preferable experience with test frameworks, test driven development, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD
An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
An understanding of web services (REST).
